Retrieving your current public IP details through this site's API.
Your public IP is the address this site sees when it receives your request. It may differ from your device's address on your local network. The country or region is based on IP geolocation data and can offer a rough indication of your current public IP's location, but the data may be outdated and does not pinpoint your device. After switching routes, select “Check again” to compare the results.
The ISP field shows the provider associated with your public IP, which may be an internet carrier or a data center. Proxy status is inferred from IP geolocation data; it is not a full inspection of your connection settings. “Not detected” does not show how all your traffic is routed. If the service cannot determine a status, VPNBH will show “Temporarily unavailable.”
Your public IP traffic and DNS requests may take different routes. The GeoIP result above shows only your current public IP; it cannot, by itself, confirm where your DNS requests go.
Make sure your selected route is connected, then review your client's DNS settings and routing rules. If a particular website or app is set to connect directly, its DNS lookups may not match the public IP shown on this page.
Check the DNS servers in your system network settings, and see whether your browser has Secure DNS enabled separately. Different system and browser settings do not necessarily mean there's a leak, but you should check each one against how you expect your connection to work.
After changing your settings, reconnect and look up your public IP on this page again. To confirm which resolver actually handles your requests, use an independent test that identifies DNS resolvers. This page's IP geolocation results are not a DNS test.
